Privacy Policy

This policy covers www.ovviohq.com, the public website for Ovvio. It does not cover the Ovvio application, which is a separate, access-controlled product governed by its own agreements.

No patient information is involved

This is a marketing website. It handles no protected health information, no patient records, and no claim data. Nothing clinical passes through it. If you are evaluating Ovvio on behalf of a practice or billing company, the handling of patient data is covered by the agreements around the product itself, not by this page.

What we collect

There are no accounts, no search boxes, and no payment on this site. The one place to type anything is the early-access form, covered in its own section below. Apart from what you choose to send through it, we collect very little, and all of it is a by-product of serving you the page.

Anonymous visit statistics

We count visits using Umami, which we run on our own server rather than sending your visit to a third-party analytics company. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records, in aggregate: the page viewed, the site that referred you, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and approximate country.

Your IP address is used momentarily to derive that approximate country and is not stored. There is no profile of you, and no way for us to connect one visit to another or to a real person.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honour it and your visit is not counted at all.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Railway. Like any web host, its servers keep short-term technical logs that can include IP addresses, the page requested, and timestamps. These exist to keep the service running and secure. We do not use them to build profiles, and we do not combine them with the statistics above.

Fonts

The typeface this site is set in is served from our own domain, not from a font service. Loading this site does not send your IP address or browser details to Google or to anyone else.

If you email us

The address on this site is a plain mailto link. Nothing is captured by the site itself. If you choose to write, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message, and we keep it for as long as needed to handle the conversation.

Early-access requests

The home page has one form, for asking to join early access. Nothing in it is sent until you press its button.

What the form collects

• Your work email address.
• Whether you are a billing company or a clinic.
• How many clinics you bill for, and, for a billing company, how many agents work on your floor.
• For a clinic, which system you bill in today, in your own words.

We also record that the request came from this website's form, and when it was sent or last updated. Sending the form again with the same email updates your request instead of creating a second one.

Why we collect it

Only to contact you about early access: to reply, and to tell you when we can take you on. It does not subscribe you to anything, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

In the database of our own application, the Ovvio API. It is not sent to a mailing-list service, a CRM, or any other third party. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how many requests one connection can send, and is not stored with your request.

How long we keep it

Asking us to delete it

Write to [email protected] from the address you used, or name it in your message, and we will delete your request.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data. To anyone, for any price.
• We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or ad networks. There are no advertising tags on this site.
• We do not build profiles or track you across other websites.
• We do not record your session: no screen recording, no heatmaps, no keystroke capture.
• We do not send marketing email from this site. There is no way to subscribe to any, and the early-access form is not one.

Cookies

This site sets a single cookie, and only to remember the privacy choice you make on the banner. The Cookie Policy lists it in full, including how long it lasts and how to remove it.

How long we keep things

• Visit statistics: kept in aggregate. They contain nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing personal to delete.
• Server logs: retained short-term by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes.
• Emails you send us: kept for as long as the conversation needs, and then deleted.
• Early-access requests: see Early-access requests above.

Your choices

• Enable Do Not Track in your browser and your visit is not counted.
• Change your cookie preferences at any time from the link at the bottom of every page, or clear cookies in your browser.
• Write to [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted. Realistically, unless you have emailed us or requested early access, the answer is nothing that identifies you.

California residents

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law. If you are a California resident and want to exercise a privacy right, use the address above and we will respond.

Children

This site is aimed at people evaluating billing software for their business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
